Some visitors express disappointment regarding the perceived value for money, especially when comparing portion sizes to expectations. A few reviews mention that large portions might seem smaller to those coming from London, suggesting a potential mismatch between local pricing and expectations. Customers also report occasional issues with drink quality, specifically flat beverages, which can detract from the overall experience. Additionally, as the restaurant predominantly offers fried options, those seeking healthier choices may find the menu limited. This can leave health-conscious diners feeling a bit overlooked in a sea of traditional fare.
We ordered fish and chips from the Big Fish Trading Co. on the pier (by the kids rides). The portion sizes were extremely generous and it was really reasonably priced. The best fish and chips I've had in years.
Food is good but the shops said they only have one option which is large £13.95 with 4 of us spent about 55 because of drinks aswell but large portion looked small maybe because we are from london but yeah don't expect massive portion nice view of the sea accross the road.
good food but overpriced compared to quality but makes sense looking at location and not really any other nearby substitutes. coke was also flat
Not bad at all
